We recently completed a beautifully practical small garden transformation in South East London. This project focused on making the most of a compact outdoor space—creating a functional, low-maintenance area that feels both open and inviting.
The original layout was uneven and lacked flow. By reworking the space from the ground up, we installed a clean paving layout that defines the garden’s structure while maximising every square metre. This is especially important in a small garden, where thoughtful planning makes all the difference.
A new timber fence now frames the entire perimeter, offering increased privacy and a clean, modern finish. The warm natural tones of the fencing contrast nicely with the smooth paving, giving the space a balanced, harmonious look.
To create a focal point and an inviting atmosphere, we added a custom circular sitting area, perfect for morning coffee, reading, or small gatherings. Every element in this small garden was chosen to improve usability without overcrowding the space.
